DOMESTIC ABUSE

Many cases of domestic abuse can lead to death. On average, three women are killed every day as a result of domestic violence. More than 40 percent of female murder victims are killed by their husbands or boyfriends. According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 1 in 5 women and 1 in 7 men have been victims of severe physical violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime and intimate partner violence accounts for 15% of all violent crime.

The Civilian Squad hopes to bring awareness to domestic abuse and help with creating safe space for survivors of abuse so they can start over and live better lives.
